Everyone must have a current GJ Sup Waiver & Release of Liability Form on file to rent equipment.
If the individual is under 18 years of age, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. This waiver will be kept on file for one year.
Grand Junction Stand Up Paddle is hosting a SUP Yoga Teacher Training June 27-30th, 2019
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN, EXPERIENCE & PRACTICE TEACH:
~4 days filled with fine tuning your stand up paddle (SUP) skills & technique and developing & creating your own SUP Yoga teaching
~3 days with special guest, Nykole Coombs will increase your toolkit on how to connect Shamanic and Elemental Teachings in your practice
~Pranayama Exercises lead by Kristi Gallegos
~You will learn how to instruct a level 1 SUP lesson which will include the following topics: paddling environment, personal preparation, launching & landing, rescues scenarios and strokes & maneuvers
~Become knowledgeable with the equipment used: boards, fins, paddles, anchors, buoys, SUP yoga docks, administrative devices and personal gear to bring when out on the water when conducting a SUP yoga class
~Gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to teach a beginner and intermediate SUP lesson
~Gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to teach three different of SUP yoga classes (beginner, intermediate and advance)
~Practice teach with fellow classmates
~Option to assist & practice in a public morning and evening SUP yoga class
