Everyone must have a current GJ Sup Waiver & Release of Liability Form on file to rent equipment. If the individual is under 18 years of age, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. This waiver will be kept on file for one year.

GUIDED MOUNTAIN BIKING & LESSONS

Private Mountain Bike Lesson

Choose between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

1 - 8 hours

With a private lesson you, the student can tailor your lesson to what you want to learn. The skills you want to learn and the time you want to spend on each skill. Just tell your instructor what you want to accomplish.

GJ SUP/ Grand Junction Adventure has certified PMBI guides that have been active in the mountain biking community for over 16 years.

The Grand Valley has it all!! From beginner, intermediate to advance mountain biking trails. We have several permitted locations within the Western Slope of Colorado.

Skills you might want to cover in your private lesson:
Advanced braking
Climbing; skills and efficiency
Cornering
Jumping
Manuals, rear wheel lifts and powered front-wheel lifts
Riding drops
Steep terrain
Tackling rocks, roots and steps
Bunny hops

Required Items:
Mountain bike in good working order
**If you do not have a bike, they are available to rent (links below)
Helmet (properly fitting, undamaged, modern mountain bike helmet)
Full finger gloves

Appropriate clothing for a mountain bike ride
Water suitable for a half day mountain bike ride
Bike tire tube

Based on your experience level and the information you provide for our guides we can get you set up with the best trails for your ability. Trails consist of rad semi desert topography. They range in difficulty.
